(George Lin) Facebook has been mainly using ads on the side of the user page, but now it looks like that may soon change.
The company has begun testing video advertisements on user's news feeds.
Some will see these test ads pop up on Thursday.
Facebook says it doesn't plan on selling these advertisements at this time, but its ultimate goal in the near future is monetization.
Cost of these video ads is unknown at this time.
The company says it simply hopes to reach large audiences at specific times.
