Puppies, Adult Dog Thrown from Car; Police Search for 2 Suspects

(Fox 10) Phoenix police are trying to track down the people who threw three puppies and an adult dog out of a car's window at a park near 21st Avenue and Glendale.

One of the dogs is recovering at the Arizona Humane Society. Her leg was wrapped up after being injured.

Authorities say someone at the park took the three pups home Tuesday night and left the mother dog behind.

Two homeless people stayed with the dog overnight and another person helped them contact the police Wednesday morning.

The other puppies were also brought in to a small animal rescue.

Officials say according to witnesses, two teens, described as Hispanic males, threw the animals over a six foot fence. The teens were in a tan Honda Civic or Accord.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stop at 602-262-6151.
