Katy Perry is kicking off her "Prismatic" world tour Wednesday night in Belfast, Ireland. It's the start of a full month in Europe before Katy arrives stateside.
The pop star is teasing fans with previews of her elaborate stage show and costumes. She tweeted out a photo of herself at what appears to be rehearsals for the concert. The singer is seen wearing a large inflatable skirt that gives the appearance of her towering above the band below. Katy joked that she wanted to fly back to New York to attend the Met Gala but that "[her] dress wouldn't fit through customs."
Katy is booked for a month in the U.K. She'll wrap up with four nights at London's "O2 Arena." Swedish pop duo Icona Pop is set to join her as an opening act.
Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves, Tegan and Sara and Becky G will be her openers for the North American leg of the tour, which starts on June 22nd.
